Hunter Biden tried to get a jump on the media stories by describing the investigation against him before the media did.

When CNN contacted the Biden transition team to ask about the story they were planning to run about Hunter, the team used that as an opportunity to put them off suggest they were going to respond, but then put out their own press release spinning the story.

According to Hunter in a statement released by the transition team and run on their website, the federal prosecutors were looking into him for his “tax affairs.” Joe Biden has denied that he was involved with his government position in any way with his son’s business. But here he was not realizing the basics conflict, that he was using tax payer dollars and transition resources to defend his son and his son was using those taxpayer dollars to not tell us the full story.

According to the Associated Press, the investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware just dropped a subpoena on Hunter and they’re not just interested in tax records. They want records related to more than two dozen entities including Burisma Holdings as well as information related to his Chinese business dealings and “other financial transactions.”

Imagine all the things that will turn up and the information that can come out. It’s going to be a hot time for Joe Biden pretty soon.

Hunter Biden has come under question because he was named to the board of Burisma in 2014 when they were trying to improve their image and their head was under investigation. That of course was also when his father Joe was still Vice President.

Biden also consulted for CEFC China Energy, a major Chinese energy firm whose chairman had suspected links to the People’s Liberation Army.

A Senate report released on Sept. 23 revealed that CEFC wired Biden nearly $6 million from August 2017 to September 2018. The report said that U.S. banking regulators flagged some of the wire payments for potential criminal activity.

The Republican senators who released the report said that Biden’s financial dealings raised “criminal financial, counterintelligence and extortion concerns.”

Not to mention conflict of interest concerns when your father is the “point man” for China and Ukraine. Or when he flies you to China on Air Force 2 to meet a Chinese business partner.

Fox also reported there are four investigations ongoing that involve the Biden family. They said there was one by the federal authorities in Pittsburgh into Hunter that had been precipitated by Attorney General Bill Barr, in addition to the Delaware one. That investigation also involves Burisma and Chinese questions according to Fox.

Reporters finally got around to asking Joe Biden if his son committed a crime. Biden refused to answer beyond saying that he was “proud of his son.”
