Media and Joe Biden Are Flaming Hypocrites: Here's What They Said Before About Calling Races Early

Media, Democrats and Joe Biden have all declared Biden the president-elect, despite the count and the legal challenges still go on, not to mention the final results not being certified.

Joe Biden even declared President Donald Trump raising any questions about the voting as an “embarrassment.”

But this is all rather strange given he isn’t actually the president-elect, and given the position of the media and Joe Biden before the election.

One of the things that the media pushed before the election was being totally against anyone declared victory before it was “official,” before it was certified. In fact, it was clear that they were afraid that Trump might declare victory “early” not allowing enough time to count the mail-in votes they thought would swing to Biden. That’s why their attitude is so hypocritical in declaring Biden the winner early.

Indeed Joe Biden’s position is hypocritical as well because before the election he pledged on September 29 during the debate moderated by Chris Wallace that he wouldn’t declare victory until the election results were independently certified.

From Daily Wire:

WALLACE: Vice President Biden, final question for you. Will you urge your supporters to stay calm while the vote is counted? And will you pledge not to declare victory until the election is independently certified?

BIDEN: Yes. And here’s the deal. We count the ballots, as you pointed out. Some of these ballots in some states can’t even be opened until election day. And if there’s thousands of ballots, it’s going to take time to do it.

How did that work out? Of course, he did not wait, just another Biden lie. He immediately accepted the declaration of the media, saying America had delivered him a “clear victory, a convincing victory.” And of course they immediately castigated Trump for saying wait despite the fact that had been the media’s position.

But it hasn’t been certified and the electoral college has not voted, in addition to the recounts and the legal challenges. As the Daily Wire observes, the General Services Administration has yet to declare a winner.

“The only time in recent history the GSA did not quickly identify a winner was in the aftermath of the tight 2000 election between George W. Bush and Al Gore,” The Wall Street Journal reported. The GSA issued a statement: “The GSA Administrator does not pick the winner in the Presidential election. The GSA Administrator ascertains the apparent successful candidate once a winner is clear based on the process laid out in the Constitution.”

We aren’t there yet even if Joe Biden and the media are trying to convince us we are.

Plus I’d also like to take you back to what Joe Biden said after the 2000 election about Al Gore contesting the election for 37 days into December. Of course, Biden was supportive of his right to do so. Notice, no one at the time was accusing Al Gore of being an “embarrassment” or conducting a “coup,” all things that have been leveled at President Trump simply for utilizing all his avenues within the system to make sure that every legal vote was counted.

Here’s what the New York Times quoted Biden as saying at the time.

”If you and I had to bet that the oddsmaker said, ‘We’re going to bet your kids’ tuition,’ I’d bet Gore loses; he’s done,” said Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr., a Delaware Democrat. ”But I’m telling you, it ain’t over until the fat lady sings. And it ain’t over until the Florida Supreme Court acts on that appeal.”

So if it wasn’t over then when it was a Democrat, why is it over now because it’s a Republican? Unless you’re just a flat out hypocrite like Biden?
