President Donald Trump doesn’t get enough attention in the national media to the fact that he donates his entire salary back to the government for good causes.

Every quarter when he gets his check, he announces what area he’s going to donate it to.

This quarter’s donation is particularly appropriate, given what has been going on with the violence and the chaos sewn by the radical left.

The president announced that he would be given $100,000 to help repair national monuments that have been damaged by radical leftists.

The money would go to the National Park Service which has responsibility for restoration.

From NY Post:

“I promised YOU I would not take a dime of salary as your President,” Trump tweeted Friday.

“I donate the entire $400,000! It is my honor to give $100,000 to @NatlParkService to help repair and restore our GREAT National Monuments.”

“So important to our American History!” he went on. “Thank You!!”

Great choice.

It’s hard to calculate the damages from all the chaos and rioting across the country. There’s probably been tens of millions of damage from it all. Just in Portland alone by July, it was $2.3 million and just last weekend in Chicago there had to have been millions of dollars in damage.

Dozens of statues and monuments have been ripped down or defaced across the country, from George Washington and Abraham Lincoln to monuments to World War II and black civil war veterans, even statues of saints and abolitionists were not spared.

During his Fourth of July speech at Mount Rushmore, President Trump signaled how important this issues was to him, speaking against the ripping down of our history and calling it part of a “left-wing cultural revolution” to “wipe out our history.” He also propped a Garden of Heroes, of statues and monuments to recognize great American historical heroes including people like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass among others.
