One of the big problems going on with the situation in Portland with the violent radical leftists is the media’s failure to accurately cover it.
Much of the violence by the rioters is simply not being shown and they are being painted as poor benighted protesters set upon by the heavy hand of the federal government.
This has allowed Democrats and media to paint the federal agents as “unidentified stormtroopers” “kidnapping people in the streets” an insane take they know is wrong but are pushing anyway, because it serves the narrative to attack the President.
So White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany showed a video of some of the violence which is powerful because it was raw and truthful. The only editing appeared to be bleeping the curse word of a woman who hoped someone would kill a cop’s whole “f**king family.”
Fox cuts away from the White House briefing after Kayleigh McEnany shows video of riots taking place in Portland:

Great that she did it, much needed truth that needs to be out there in the face of out and out lies like this:
Join me and @NickKristof on @MSNBC at 10 eastern tonight. We’re discussing Trump’s military occupation of America’s cities to provoke violence and chaos, starting with Portland, but reaching from Seattle to Albuquerque to Chicago to New York City. This is how dictators roll.

But what was troubling is that Fox News cut away from it and Harris Faulkner’s response as to why didn’t really make a lot of sense.
Harris Faulkner defends Fox’s decision to leave the briefing after McEnany showed video of Portland violence, saying it was b/c there was a “video that we were not told would air and how it would be edited with some things on screen that we might have wanted a heads up about.” pic.twitter.com/ysbyOfmxV1

Harris Faulkner is a great and fair reporter, so I’m not blaming her for cutting away.
It’s possible that they didn’t want to show curse words.
But if you blur it, you’re also blurring a critical part of the news. You have to do something to at least convey to people what the word is.
It has to be reported to defeat the lies and to let people know what’s really going on, to show how bad it really is, in all its ugliness, or people don’t get it and the liberal media just paints it right over. At least the most important elements got out there.
