We reported on some of the top brass in the NYPD being attacked by radical protesters while police were part of a unity march with the community and clergy on the Brooklyn Bridge.

One of the people arrested was Quran Campbell, 25, who was charged with attacking three separate officers including top cop, NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan.

Monahan said that Campbell was “part of this anarchist group” within BLM that has been causing problems in the past within the protests.

He said that he was bruised up after being attacked by Campbell, but nothing was broken, despite other reports that he broke a finger.

But Monahan said that Campbell was the man who attacked one of the lieutenants there, Richard Mack, of the NYPD’s Strategic Response Group. According to the NY Post, Mack sustained a broken orbital bones in his face and had to get 12 stitches. It was after he allegedly attacked Mack that Monahan then grabbed him and you see the struggle with the video that went viral, with Campbell allegedly punching Monahan a few times and another officer getting cracked in the head by another man with a cane.

So what happened to Campbell who allegedly attacked three important officers?

The prosecution asked to hold him on $75,000 bail and the courts refused, releasing him without any bail, according to the NY Post.
Mayor de Blasio said he was upset about this.

But this is because of the leftist bail reform tragedy that he and others were favored. So suspects can be right out to do it again if they so choose, even when alleged to have committed such a visible crime on three high ranking officers.

You wonder why there has been such a rise in shooting in New York City? This is part of it, the failure to hold anyone accountable for anything, some of it due to the pandemic, some due to bail reform and a lot do to the doing away with of the NYPD anticrime unit.

But why bother to arrest any of these folks who commit crimes if ultimately it means nothing and they’re immediately right back out on the street, sometimes even before the police can finish the reports? This is the crumbling of the rule of law right around us.
