Media has gone out of their way to justify a lot of the illegal actions of the radical leftists who have wreaked chaos across many cities that’s involved attacking police, ripping down and defacing statues and even killing people.

In his Mount Rushmore speech over the weekend, President Donald Trump called out the leftist “cultural revolution” and how we needed to stand against folks who would rip apart America, its history and its values. He’s spoke out against the effort to defund the police and the greater chaos that would cause.

But some in media have spun that as a defense of “confederate statues,” when most of the statues have nothing to do with the confederacy and skipping all the rest of chaos that should concern and be condemned by every American.

The media was more interested in asking questions about the confederate flag that about the rise in shootings in cities where leftists are calling for defunding the police and/or have already cut back on police actions, such as in New York City where they cut out the anticrime unit and they just passed a cut of over a billion dollars in NYPD budget. The anticrime unit is a plainclothes division which works to deter such crimes rather than simply reacting to the aftermath. That has now contributed to an incredible rise in the shootings in the city.

There were a slew of shootings over the Fourth of July weekend including New York, Chicago where it’s always a problem and in Atlanta where protesters appear to have shot an eight year old child, Secoriea Turner. According to Fox, at least six children were killed over the weekend.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany asked media why did they have multiple questions about confederate flags, but weren’t concerned about this?

She said she didn’t receive one question about the New York City shootings skyrocketing increase by 142% in the last seven days, or one question about the children being shot and killed over the weekend. She quoted the dad of 8 year old Secoriea Turner who was apparently shot by protesters who were occupying a parking lot near the Wendy’s in Atlanta, “They say Black Lives Matters. You killed a child. She didn’t do nothing to nobody.” We need to be focused on securing the streets, McEnany said, because “all black lives matter, that of David Dorn and that of this little girl.”

Perfectly said.

Indeed.

If you claim to care about black lives then all black lives should matter, including the people killed by protesters, rioters and looters or many of the dozens of people shot in Chicago every summer weekend. Where is the action to stop this in these local Democratic cities? Indeed the failure of action, the failure to stop ‘protesters’ from illegally occupying the area where the little girl was shot may have contributed to her death. Defunding the police only makes it worse and costs more lives, including black lives. Who can think of defunding police with such things happening? This is what media should be covering.
