President Donald Trump is heading to Mount Rushmore for July 4 to celebrate America at one of our most iconic historical landmarks at a time that history is under attack.

Media, of course, was right on it, speculating as to not only how it might contribute to coronavirus, but also to wildfires, just to put extra spin on it. That spin they never put on leftist rallies and protests.

But the DNC took it even further than that.

They claimed that celebrating July 4th at Mount Rushmore was “glorifying white supremacy.”

“Trump has disrespected Native communities time and again. He’s attempted to limit their voting rights and blocked critical pandemic relief. Now he’s holding a rally glorifying white supremacy at Mount Rushmore — a region once sacred to tribal communities,” the DNC tweeted early Tuesday morning. The tweet linked to a story by The Guardian, which reported that some Native American groups are planning protests at Mount Rushmore in response to Trump’s expected attendance on July 3.

“Mount Rushmore is a symbol of white supremacy, of structural racism that’s still alive and well in society today,” Native American activist Nick Tilsen told the British paper. “It’s an injustice to actively steal indigenous people’s land then carve the white faces of the conquerors who committed genocide.”

National Review reached out to the DNC press secretary Brandon Gassaway for an explanation of their insanity, but didn’t get a response.

I’m really curious, was it just the most significant presidents in our history that the Democrats hate or that with July 4th?

Americans, including the Trump team, just ripped them a new one.

But how much further left they have gone since then?

It just shows that the Monument Mob isn’t a fringe element of the left, it’s endorsed by their main accounts when they tweet things like this and endorse the ripping down of statues and/or refuse to condemn it. Joe Biden has yet to comment. If they get in, come November, we are all in deep trouble.
