Anti-fascist counter-demonstrators cross the Burnside Bridge across the Willamette River from the west side of the city to the east side in search of the far-right group, the Proud Boys, in Portland, Ore., Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019. Self-described anti-fascists vowed to confront the rally while leaders from the far right urged their followers to turn out in large numbers to protest the arrests of multiple members of right-wing groups in the run-up to the event. Early Friday morning, hundreds of Antifa attacked police and the North Precinct in Portland. They tried to set up another autonomous zone around the precinct with fencing and dumpsters, tried to lock police in the precinct and light it on fire, and pelted the police outside with objects like glass bottles.

They also spray painted all kinds of disgusting things on the precinct including “the only good cop is a dead one” as well as looted and damaged businesses in the area.

From Oregon Live:

Chief Chuck Lovell called the actions “not only reprehensible, but they’re evil, ‘’ emphasizing that people were inside the precinct when vandals blocked side doors by nailing wooden beams across them, and then pushed a dumpster, from which flames were shooting out, along the west side of the building.

Other Black leaders in the community called the criminal activity the work of “terrorists,‘’ “delinquents,‘’ and the “act of a coward.‘’ They blasted those responsible for undermining the Black Lives Movement and causing damage to Black-owned businesses in an area where the Black community has struggled to maintain its historical hold. Mayor Ted Wheeler called the destruction “a horrible, horrendous miscalculation.‘’

Sounds like finally the community may be stepping up and may have had enough of them and that attitude might finally allow the police to do their job.

But Antifa was at it again Friday night, targeting the Central Precinct this time.

Except this time, police didn’t let it go as far as the night before. This time, when the radicals tried to set up barricades outside the precinct, the police weren’t having it.

I think it’s plain to see the Portland Police have had enough of these characters. They rushed them and the Antifa kids were so taken aback they fell all over themselves trying to get away.

Notice how they’re so offended that police dare to respond, how dare the police stop them from breaking the law! Imagine saying “what’s wrong with you” after her buddies tried to set a police precinct on fire after trying to barricade them inside.

But not only did Antifa fail, they got a message that their nonsense wasn’t going to be allowed. More of this, please!
