How does one manage to be completely polite, tell the ridiculous Never Trumper Rick Wilson to pound sand, and sum up 2020 all in one tweet?

That’s what Domino’s managed to achieve in responding to Wilson’s highlighting of an eight-year-old “thank you” tweet.

How silly has the Trump hate from the Lincoln Project guy become?

As we reported earlier, Wilson tried to marshal his left-wing coterie to get Domino’s ‘canceled’ for having thanked Kayleigh McEnany for praising their pizza. Seriously. Who could even think that this is “offensive?” It’s pure lunacy.

But, of course, it had some folks on the left saying they were going to not buy Domino’s anymore.

Folks on the right dragged Wilson and the Lincoln Project big time for the ridiculous tweet.

The normal corporate response in such a situation, being faced with a cancel-hungry, mob is often to cave.

But Domino’s, with complete aplomb, tweeted this to Wilson:

“Welp. It’s unfortunate that thanking a customer for a compliment back in 2012 would be viewed as political. Guess that’s 2020 for ya,” they said.

Oh, my, the burn may never heal from that one. Nice job. That earns a pizza buy from me!

Thank you for the much needed sanity, Domino’s! Would that every company responds so to the ridiculousness of such cancel efforts.
