As we reported on Wednesday, there’s an effort to afoot to paint police as evil and anything related to police as evil.

That insanity is resulting in things like the show “Cops” getting cancelled after being on the air for 33 years.

What’s the point in that?

But it’s the Stalinist purge underway, nothing will be spared even if its institution like “Cops.”

As we noted at the time, it looked like “Live PD” might be on the block as well. “Live PD” followed police departments doing their jobs live, from multiple towns.

Now, it appears the hammer has fallen and taken that show out as well, according to posts on Twitter by those connected to the show.

A&E has canceled its flagship series and one of the highest-rated shows on basic cable. A week after Live P.D. was pulled in the wake of George Floyd’s death, the reality series’ hiatus has been made permanent.

The decision was made jointly by A&E and MGM’s Big Fish Entertainment, which produces the series.

“This is a critical time in our nation’s history and we have made the decision to cease production on Live PD,” the network said in a statement to Deadline. “Going forward, we will determine if there is a clear pathway to tell the stories of both the community and the police officers whose role it is to serve them. And with that, we will be meeting with community and civil rights leaders as well as police departments.”

How insane is that? Were you not already trying to “tell the stories of both the community and the police officers?”

Is the show committing a crime? Or is the crime that it simply isn’t acceptable to the left?

Ultimately, both the network and the production company on Wednesday came to the conclusion that there was currently no path forward for the show in its current form as protesters and politicians are calling for a police reform following the death of Floyd while restrained by a cop during arrest.

Talk about police, but this time, it’s the p.c. police, only what is acceptable to the left shall be seen. And this is people killing their own popular show so as not to offend simply by covering police.

A month before, the show had just been approved for 160 new episodes.

In addition to showing the stories of police, they also helped to find missing children.

Too bad, that’s done too in the mad dash of leftist p.c. But they shouldn’t have to justify the show based on that.

Oh, and they took out this guy’s job as well. His bio says he’s a “tech for Live PD camera operator.”
