Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) took a stand today against the pulling down of historical monuments.

We’ve already seen one person grievously injured in one such effort by BLM protesters pulling down a confederate statue in Portsmouth, Virginia.

But they’re pulling down any statue the left finds offensive, regardless of the history. Because suddenly we are in the middle of leftist Stalinist revisionism. All things that they find offensive must be purged and done away with.

Cruz called that out in the destruction of a statue of Christopher Columbus in St. Paul, Minnesota.

This was organized and led by Indigenous people.

No, he didn’t commit genocide, “literally” or otherwise. He did discover the New World, which led to colonizers, some of whom inadvertently brought disease.
