Black Lives Matter has been trying to use the death of George Floyd and the subsequent protests to push the radical agenda of defunding and eliminating the police across the country.

While NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio doesn’t really have the ability to eliminate the police, as much as he might want to, in a salve to the BLM, he did announce he would be taking funding away from the NYPD to support local youth groups and social services.

From NY Post:

“We will be moving funding from the NYPD to youth initiatives and social services,” Hizzoner vowed, calling it part of “deeper reforms” to tackle the “profound disparities” in the city.

It was not clear how much funding was being switched or which groups would receive the extra help. Hizzoner said the “details will be worked out in the budget process in the weeks ahead.”

De Blasio vowed that it would be done “in a way that we are certain continues to ensure that this city will be safe.”

He also said they would be shifting enforcement regarding street vendors away from the NYPD to another agency, saying that street vending involves an “opportunity to move forward” for many immigrants.

So he’s going to make things “more just” by gutting the group who protects New Yorkers? How does that help New Yorkers? All that does is pander to the BLM and it still wouldn’t be regarded as enough by them? How does that do anything to address any issues of police actions? It only makes it harder to police.

Meanwhile, the citizens, who already hate him, will leave in droves.

Dan Bongino called out the crazy.

So is de Blasio going to give up his NYPD protective detail who drive him to the gym and the park while others were required to stay home? After all, that would guarantee that things were more “fair,” right?

This is insanity.

Are they ready for more of this? Because that’s what they’ll get.
