Rioters, don’t set off UFC star Jon Jones.

Jones, the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, apparently had enough of the rioters on Sunday night in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was tired of people looting and messing with his city.

When he saw two young white teenagers in Antifa black bloc attire with spray paint in their hands, he took action.

Jones posted the encounter on Instagram with the following note. He questioned whether it was even about the death of George Floyd anymore with all this nonsense.

“As a young black man trust me I’m frustrated as well but this is not the way, we are starting to make a bad situation worse. If you really got love for your city (505), protect your s–t. All you old heads need to speak up, call your young family members and tell them to come home tonight.”

Wise words.

Imagine being a skinny little teen and then suddenly seeing Jon Jones — who could probably crack you in half — come out of the night and grab your spray can. Not the man you are going to challenge as they wisely decided. Hopefully, with no spray can they just decided to go home.

But how wonderful of Jones to be looking out for his community and telling these stupid kids this is not the way.

That wasn’t all he did, he was out helping out in the neighborhood, not only trying to prevent damage and looting but helping to clean and fix things up.

“Lots of work to do out in the streets today men,” Jones tweeted. “If you’re a real one, call your boys and get to work. #merica.”

He also reported that they were able to successfully stop the rioting in the city.
