Democrats just reflexively take whatever side President Donald Trump is on.

This, even if the people on the other side are our enemies or have attacked us as we’ve seen with both Iran and China.

Every American should be unified in condemning China’s actions against us now. indeed, everyone in the world who has been affected by the virus should stand together against the Chinese government.

It isn’t only about lying and covering up the virus, it’s about their continued threatening words and actions against us. Most of the media and Democrats seem to be ignoring that.

The Chinese government are now threatening Republican lawmakers and others like the state of Missouri who are trying to hold them accountable.

From Townhall:

State-run media reported Thursday that Republican lawmakers will “face severe consequences” for speaking out against China, pursuing lawsuits, and pushing “anti-China” legislation.

“Republicans who have been groundlessly accusing China and inflaming the ‘holding China accountable’ political farce will face severe consequences, sources said, noting that the aftermath will also impact the upcoming November elections, while business and trade between Missouri and China will be further soured,” the Global Times, a branch of the Communist Party of China’s People’s Daily, wrote in an article. [….]

“We must resolutely hit back at those politicians who, for no reason, undermine China-US ties for their own political benefits. For those who promote anti-China legislation, we need to find out what the business ties are between those officials or their families with China,” one research fellow at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences told the paper. “We can’t just strike back symbolically, but should impose countermeasures that could make them feel the pain.”

Here’s the Global Times’ Editor in Chief threatening “punishment.”

They’re threatening the state of Missouri because the Attorney General of Missouri, Eric Schmitt, has filed suit against China to recoup for the deaths and suffering from the pandemic.

The Republican politicians they named were Senators Josh Hawley (R-MO), Tom Cotton (R-AR), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Rick Scott (R-FL) and Martha McSally (R-AZ) as well as Representatives Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), Chris Smith (R-NJ and Lance Gooden (R-TX). New Jersey Republican politicians were also named: state senator Jim Holzapfel, Assemblyman Greg McGuckin and Assemblyman John Catalano. All were involved in legislation to hold China accountable.

Republicans had the perfect response.

From Fox News:

Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., who was also cited in the story for teaming up with Hawley on legislation that banned all federal employees from using TikTok on government devices, spoke with Fox News for an exclusive interview last week. He said he plans to hold the World Health Organization (WHO) and “Communist China” accountable for their role in the current pandemic, as the Senate continues to investigate the matter.

“We have failed to call out China for who they are — call out these international organizations for who they are, and you see Democrats out there trying to defend the WHO. It’s the craziest thing in the world,” he said.

Scott added: “The biggest thing we can do is stop buying [China’s] stuff. They steal our jobs, they steal our technology and now they’ve intentionally caused a problem that’s killing American jobs, killing Americans and Europeans and people all over the world. So I think the biggest thing we can do is make sure Americans stop buying their products. And it’s a twofer because then we help build our own economy up again by bringing manufacturing back here.”

But how do Democrats respond to this stated threat against America and American lawmakers?

According to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, being concerned about China is an “interesting diversion.”

We’re threatened, her fellow members in Congress are threatened and to her it’s an “interesting diversion.” Does she even know what her job and responsibility is?

But at least you could understand her sentence albeit ridiculous and ineffective.

Here’s Joe Biden:

The responses of the Republicans and the Democrats tell you all you need to know about who to vote for in November, if anyone still had a question.
