Somewhere along the line, I started telling the Democrats their best strategy would be for Joe Biden not to be doing interviews.
Every interview he gives is an opening for more problems and more gaffes. But they haven’t learned their lesson yet. They seem to want to keep digging.
On the other hand, I suppose, it’s pretty much a question of being cooked now or cooked later when he gets to debates with President Donald Trump — if we ever actually have any debates. I think Democrats believe that Joe will somehow get in the swing of it. But in fact, he just seems to keep deteriorating more with every interview. It’s not getting better, it’s getting worse. If they think they’re training him through this, they’re seriously mistaken.
He went of Al Sharpton’s show on MSNBC today and it was a mess.
This looked bad:

Joe Biden to Al Sharpton: "I apologize for not remembering."
No wonder Joe Biden later appeared to resort to a teleprompter in this "interview." pic.twitter.com/4K1GmPIBve

But then he appeared to be checking notes prior to a question about vetting his choice for vice president. Shouldn’t that be an easy question to answer without notes?

Here, he appears to be reading in response to a live question from Al Sharpton. You can even see him lean in and squint as he appears to read at about 0:27 and once he sees what it says he leans back.

So, would Biden and Sharpton like to clarify exactly what was going on here? Was Biden given prepared questions to answer? Was there a teleprompter he was reading from? Because that’s sure what it looks like.
Is @JoeBiden using a teleprompter during a supposed live “interview”?
How lucky for him his answers match up with the questions! https://t.co/JTteegapWC

Watching Joe Biden read from a teleprompter to Al Sharpton in an “interview” does not constitute an interview.
This is embarrassing for all parties involved.

It's really crazy that Joe Biden is using a teleprompter to answer questions in TV interviews and everybody thinks that's OK.

Yashar Ali asked Matt Wolking who is the Trump Deputy Director for Communications/rapid response person.

Watch the interview. It’s pretty obvious. And photos of his home setup show it’s right there. pic.twitter.com/n7zRJyId9m

It’s not only Trump supporters raising the questions about Biden’s use of the teleprompter for aid. The Sunday Times UK raised the question about the town hall that Biden held.

What’s going to happen when he gets to a live debate?
Fess up, Joe.
