As we reported on Friday, New Hampshire state Representative Richard Komi, a Democrat representing Manchester and strong supporter of Joe Biden, made a vile tweet about why he thought the account of sexual assault by former staffer Tara Reade was not believable.

Komi claimed that Biden couldn’t have done it because of the position of a woman’s vagina without some “cooperation” by Reade.

So you don't believe her because you think she had to help him assault her? You might as well claim her skirt was too short.

“Judging by the position of the female vagina, it will not be easy for anyone to just put their finger into the vagina unless their is some Cooperation from the female herself. That is why I believe Tara Reade’s allegations is false. She is looking for attention.”

Just disgusting that any adult could say that.

He later deleted it when he was hit with a huge backlash, not surprisingly.

It was too much even for other Democrats, who called for his immediate resignation.

Komi later changed his profile to “former” representative and protected his tweets. It was later confirmed that he had resigned.

He expressed regret for his comments but said he still supported Biden and didn’t believe Reade, according to the Manchester Ink Link.

“I wish I had worded my words more appropriately. It was not intended to lessen the pain that sexual assault survivors face all their lives,” he said “I do not believe Joe (Biden) is the type of person who would do anything to hurt a woman.”

Here is Komi supporting Biden, on Biden’s Facebook page, “Why Richard Komi supports Joe Biden.” Komi says he’s doing that because of Biden’s support for Obamacare because it helped with his son who is on the autism spectrum.

But you know what’s missing? Any words or labeling identifying him as a Democratic politician. So, basically Biden appears to be pitching Komi supporting him for his policies without letting people know the complete story. Can we say just a bit deceptive there?

But now that whole effort has come back to bite Biden, big time, with Komi’s comments.
