One of the things some on the left have feared is that the Trump campaign will have a lot of material to beat their presumptive nominee, Joe Biden, over the head with.

There is no doubt of that there’s all kinds of gaffe footage, incorrect decisions and lies they can pull out.

But they also can point to the allegations of sexual assault and improper touching of women and they will not be shying away from doing so. The Trump campaign has already proven they are light years ahead of Biden in understanding video and social media.

They just proved it again with their latest ad against Biden which whacks him over the Reade allegations.

The main thing they went after was the double standard which Democrats have been using here versus Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearings.

From Washington Examiner:

“The double standard exhibited by Biden, prominent liberal women’s groups, and Democrat elected officials — some of whom want to be Biden’s running mate — is glaring and cannot be allowed to stand,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Erin Perrine wrote in a statement.

Perrine added, “There will be a great temptation among Biden’s supporters to take his lackluster interview performance and declare ‘case closed’ and move on. We do not know what, if anything, was done to Tara Reade, but there cannot be one set of rules for Joe Biden and another set for everyone else.”

The ad also cleverly employs his recent endorsement chat with Hillary Clinton as well as her prior comments about believing women. The best part of the ad was the end, “Joe and Hillary explain all their plans to help women.”

They released the ad as Biden was having difficulty explaining why one should believe women when Kavanaugh was accused but not so much when he was accused.

The Trump team pulled out the point I made earlier on Friday.

“While he called for the complete release of Mike Bloomberg’s documents related to complaints against him, Biden made clear he does not want his University of Delaware records released because they could be used against him in the campaign,” the Trump team wrote.
