Rep. Justin Amash (I- announced on Wednesday that he would looking into getting the Libertarian Party’s nod for president.

Now, one would think that Never Trumpers would have embraced this guy, truly one of their own. A guy claiming to conserve conservatism while doing all he could to help Democrats in their efforts against President Donald Trump.

Here’s the alternative they wanted to Trump, right?

But apparently not so much.

They weighed in, horrified he was looking at running, and encouraging him not to.

Joe Walsh, the former Never Trumper Republican candidate who burned out early on even wrote an article against Amash running, which was tweeted out by Rick Wilson.

Jen Rubin showing that unerring ability to be wrong on both counts there. She doesn’t think a rape accusation and the incoherence isn’t “messing up?”

So these are some of the same guys who are willing to vote for Biden, some like Joe Walsh were even willing to say they’d vote for the socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). To conserve conservatism, of course.

Because their first goal isn’t who’s best for the country, it isn’t even who aligns with their alleged “principles,” it’s how to beat Trump. That is their one and only guiding “principle” they seem to have left of their “conservatism.” If it wasn’t about voting for Trump, they’d vote for Amash. They want Biden to win period, that’s their “principle” now, a man who can’t complete a sentence, who has had his alleged “moderate” nature cover ripped off during the primary to reveal someone about as far left as anyone in the race, the man who said he’s going to rely on Beto O’Rourke and Bernie Sanders to help him govern, if he were to win.
