House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is fond of saying that she’s Catholic and that demands certain behavior, such as — she says — that she can’t hate anyone.

The last time I checked, it also had this thing about lying.

But Pelosi just told one heck of a whopper while appearing on CNN to talk about the virus relief bill.

The bill has been hung up by the Democrats in the Senate because folks like Pelosi have been pushing to hold up Americans and add unrelated goodies/pork into the bill.

However, Pelosi claimed that that “everything we’re suggesting just relates to COVID-19.”

According to the Daily Caller, Pelosi claimed it wasn’t the kind of bill she would have written as regard things like family medical leave or worker protections. “Everything we’re suggesting just relates to COVID-19,” she claimed. She continued to try to push that claim, “It’s not about making law for the future…It’s not changing policy except as it applies here.”

Yet, as we have reported, that’s simply not true.

There’s a boatload of incredibly ridiculous provisions that she was proposing in her own bill including things related to racial diversity on corporate boards, solar and wind tax credits, early and same-day voting. It even included millions for the IRS, millions for the JFK Performing Arts Center. $300,000,000 for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, even $1,000,000 for the Sergeant at Arms and Doorkeeper of the Senate. It was a festival of things that Democrats have wanted for years and/or things that would make your blood boil.

Nicely done! Not only is she hurting Americans with her actions, she thinks she can fool people too with such unconscionable lies.
