Donald Trump
It’s really been something watching media and some on the left flip out at referring to the virus as the Wuhan virus or Chinese Virus.
They’re seemingly so upset about that, yet far less upset that China lied about the virus, let it spread, disappeared whistleblowers, and is now blaming us, suggesting we spread it to them.
So a reporter asked President Donald Trump, “China and others have criticized you for using the phrase ‘Chinese virus.’ How do you feel about that, are you going to continue using that phrase?”
President Trump asked about his use of the phrase “Chinese Virus”:
REPORTER: “Critics say that using that phrase creates a stigma.”
TRUMP: “No, I don’t think so. I think saying that our military gave it to them creates a stigma.”

From Newsbusters:
Well, China was putting out information, which was false, that our military gave this to them. That was false. And rather than having an argument, I said I have to call it where it came from, it did come from China. So I think it’s a very accurate term. But no, I didn’t appreciate the fact that China was saying that our military gave it to them. Our military did not give it to anybody.
The journalist then pressed: “Critics say using that phrase creates a stigma.”
The President rejected the argument: “No, I don’t think so. No, I think saying that our military gave it to them creates a stigma.”
Ba da boom. Exactly right.
Would be funny, if it weren’t so telling, that the MSM seems far more concerned about anyone correctly calling it #WuhanCoronovirus or #ChineseVirus than they are about the fact Communist China hid what was happening and allowed virus to spread worldwide.https://t.co/yRcGCgzyKy

@realDonaldTrump When you get this stu[id question again, I recommend you just play this video, drop the mic and walk off the stage. Thanks for posting a few days ago @bennyjohnson https://t.co/QhFw0eJN4H

However, the accurate name should be the CCPXivirus, rather than China virus.

Exactly. Everyone was calling it “Chinese coronavirus” or “Wuhan coronavirus” until the Chinese started pushing back and spreading propaganda.
Here’s the thing. If the media is concerned about the Chinese people, how about supporting efforts to find out the truth of what happened to the whistleblowers who told the world what was going on, including Chen Quishi and Fang Bin? Why don’t you show you really care by agitating with the Chinese for answers?
#CHINA : Where is Chen Quishi? This is the question being asked by the family of this freelance journalist who has been missing ever since his arrest on 6 February for covering the #coronavirus crisis in the city of Wuhan. Like Chen, many other whistleblowers have disappeared… pic.twitter.com/IhTOh2KmZO
