Joe Biden has been having a tough time through the primary season.

He was supposed to be the establishment’s choice and was the frontrunner at the start.

But as he’s gaffed his way from state to state and not winning in any of them, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has been on the rise, winning all the contests so far, with the best showing by Biden being a distant second in Nevada, with Sanders still beating him by more than twice as much.

But one of the things that has injured his campaign has been a wound self-inflicted by the Democrats.

By going after the president in a failed effort to remove him through impeachment, it managed to place a big spotlight on Joe Biden’s Ukraine issues, including the threat to fire the prosecutor who was looking into Burisma, the Ukrainian company upon which Biden’s son, Hunter, served and all the attendant conflict of interest questions.

Hunter has been the big looming albatross hanging over his campaign.

One of the issues that has been looming out there is that former stripper Lunden Roberts, who is the mother of Hunter Biden’s child, has been seeking to have his income determined in the child support case in Arkansas and have him deposed.

Because the nature of the case and the deposition would explore all his means of income for the past couple of years, it has attracted a lot of interest for people trying to ferret out how much and from who he was getting paid in relation to his positions related to Ukraine and China.

But Hunter Biden has been tap dancing as fast as he can to delay it as long as he can, likely to prevent that information from coming out and impacting his father’s campaign.

Roberts was trying to depose him next week, but now Biden’s attorneys are trying to delay yet again, making a motion to the court that he wouldn’t be able to be deposed until April 1, that the request to appear before then would be “unduly burdensome and oppressive.”

From Daily Caller:

“My client can be available April 1, 2020,” Biden’s attorney, Brent Langdon, wrote to Roberts’s attorneys, court documents show. “My client cannot be available prior to that date.”

Langdon added that a filing Sunday by Roberts’s attorneys notifying that Biden’s deposition would take place on March 5 was “unnecessary” and that it served to ignite “media attention” and to unreasonably “annoy, embarrass, or oppress” Biden.

That would make it long past Super Tuesday and likely past the determination of Joe Biden’s fate in terms of the primary.

Hunter Biden previously reached a temporary child support agreement with Roberts in late January, court documents show. Hunter Biden said in a November 2019 court filing that he had “no monthly income” since May 2019, but he’s also been renting a $12,000-per-month home in Hollywood. He was also spotted driving a white Porsche Panamera, Page Six reported in January.

Hunter Biden has a hearing scheduled for May 13 in Arkansas to determine a permanent child support agreement for his child, court documents show.

Exactly why can’t he be there if he is unemployed? Surely it isn’t hat he can’t afford to get there if he’s paying for a 12,000/month home (assuming it’s him who is paying)? And if he can afford that, where exactly is his income coming from?
