One of the troubling things to come out of the leftist effort against President Donald Trump has been the actions by folks on the left to donate money to people who are perceived by the left to be doing or to have done something anti-Trump.
We’ve seen that now in multiple cases with GoFundMe accounts raising big dollars for folks like Christine Blasey Ford, James Comey, and Andrew McCabe.
Folks like Comey have also gotten book deals.
Now comes the word that the former Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, who became known for her anti-Trump impeachment testimony just got a book deal.
According to the NY Post: Yovanovitch has inked a seven-figure book deal from Houghton Mifflin.
“Yovanovitch’s book will deliver pointed reflections on the issues confronting America today, and thoughts on how we can shore up our democracy,” Houghton Mifflin Harcourt said in a statement.
Yovanovitch is represented by the Javelin literary agency, which has handled books for other #resistance icons such as ex-FBI director James Comey and former national security adviser John Bolton.
She wasn’t even there during the alleged Ukraine phone call, she was basically called to say how mean Trump was for daring to recall her, as he had every right to do.
Exactly why would anyone want to read about that, especially if the book isn’t coming out for over a year from now?
It’s also interesting that the folks who appear to do things that feed the resistance have the same agent.
