How worried are Democrats and their willing compliant media about their 2020 Democratic candidates?

Can we say terrified?

Many had believed that Joe Biden would be their candidate, thinking him the most electable against President Donald Trump, as the allegedly more “moderate” and experienced one. But Biden has been a festival of “gaffes” and confusion, in addition to being an uninspiring candidate to start with.

Now the Iowa results show how in trouble Biden is, that people are not buying him and that the race for the nomination is much more in question than even just a Biden-Sanders battle that the Democrats had figured. It gives much more credence to the concept that they may go into the convention without a clear leader or that it may be a leader that they don’t really want, like Sanders.

MSNBC “Hardball” host Chris Matthews gave voice to that concern during a discussion with former New York Rep. Steve Israel about the debacle in Iowa. Matthews asks if no one has a clear majority, can you go to someone who isn’t running? Israel says that you can pick anyone, even Matthews himself. Then Matthews suggests Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) as a possibility.

You know they’re in trouble and have no confidence in their candidates if they’re suggesting Schiff. They really want to throw Sanders under the bus.

They’re going to throw a candidate under the bus if he doesn’t reach a majority? Well, then be prepared because if it isn’t Sanders, none of the others are going to have an overwhelming majority, given the current field and situation.

Schiff literally blew up their impeachment effort between lies and the failure to prove his case. This is the guy Matthews would put against Trump? Is he giving Matthews a tingle up the leg? The Bernie Bros would explode and justifiably so.

All they would have to do in an ad is show video of Schiff lying with him getting Pinocchios from places like the Washington Post juxtaposed with shots of his district in California that he’s left unattended. According to an article from July 2019 just before Schiff started the latest impeachment nonsense, homelessness jumped 31% in West Hollywood which is part of his district.
