CPAC, much like the rest of us, has had enough of Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT).
Romney was one of two Republicans who broke ranks and voted in favor of a motion to have new witnesses at the Senate impeachment trial. The other was Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME). Collins is in re-election campaign coming up, Romney is not, so no one was giving him any allowances for his actions beyond simply once again, his desire to throw the President under the bus.
CPAC made it official: don’t call us, because we don’t want you.
From the Washington Times:
The Conservative Political Action Committee formally disinvited the Utah Republican from its high-profile conference next month, after he voted in favor of new witnesses in President Trump’s impeachment trial.
“BREAKING: The ‘extreme conservative’ and Junior Senator from the great state of Utah, @SenatorRomney is formally NOT invited to #CPAC2020,” tweeted Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union.

He’s been welcome there in the past. That, despite some decidedly not conservative takes, even though he tried to market himself as one in 2012.
His dis-invitation got mostly cheers from those on the right and boos from folks on the left, the left who claimed in 2012 that he gave people cancer and tried to kill dogs.
Thank you.

Can @GOP pull funding from Mitten’s and back a different candidate in Utah? @jasoninthehouse would be an amazing Senator for Utah!

Gotta love how this really describes Democrats:
Republicans, the Head-on-a-Pike Party. Authoritarian, quash dissent, rig elections, rely on propaganda broadcasts to prop a cult leader. Congrats! G☭P! Your Soviet colors are showing! 🎈 pic.twitter.com/yfIt44CC7Q

Can we say Democrats rigging against Bernie Sanders? Paying foreign national/s to undermine their opponent and weaponizing the information to the FBI and the media? Not to mention some on the left pushing Soviet propaganda for decades.
Utah it’s time to recall Pierre Delecto! pic.twitter.com/vQlY7h3ti1
