Media has been crying liberal tears over “restrictions” they claim have been placed on their being able to harass senators in and around the hallways near the Senate impeachment trial.
First, it was CNN’s Manu Raju complaining about being checked by police down by the elevators. As if there might not be a little more security given the high profile nature of the Senate proceedings.
Now it’s another CNN analyst objecting to reporters being kept in pens so the senators could pass unmolested unless they chose to stop and talk to them.
GOP senators are leaving their lunch and walking to the Senate floor.

Gee, so you mean they don’t have to respond unless they want to respond? Like always?
Is there no end to what these reporters have to suffer? Such harrowing things they have to go through!
People didn’t have a lot of sympathy for their complaints.

"We can't chase after them like a pack of snarling animals."
This is an admission by a journo that they need to be in those pens.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa…they can ignore us. (Spoiler alert, sweet cheeks, they can ignore you anyway. It's ALWAYS their choice and should always be their choice whether or not to speak to you. )

If you are going to lie about stuff like this at least do a forced perspective shot to make them seem far away. Those "penned" reporters are within 10 feet of anyone (at worst) on the other side of the velvet rope.

Reminder of how they were treated by the Clintons?

Bottom line? Anyone can stop and talk with them if they want. They also can, gasp, avail themselves of those things called phones and emails. I’ve heard those can sometimes get responses.
But after everything they try to do to jack the narratives, it’s pretty hard to feel for them when they complain about not being able to do it.
