Cindy McCain, the widow of late Sen. John McCain, was at a human trafficking conference in Florida when she made an astonishing statement.

She ripped law enforcement for not doing anything about convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, while saying “we all knew” about what he was doing.

McCain was responding to a question from a young man in the audience who said that young people believed that there were people in power who not only benefitted from sex trafficking but actively participated in it, mentioning Epstein. He asked is is possible to get these power players or is it a “pipe dream.”

“Epstein was hiding in plain sight,” Cindy McCain replied. “We all knew about him. We all knew what he was doing, but we had no one that was — no legal aspect that would go after him. They were afraid of him. For whatever reason, they were afraid of him. All of a sudden, someone said, b.s., we’re not afraid of you anymore. What you’re doing is not only wrong, it’s illegal, it’s all those things. It’s like a house of cards. It’s going to start tumbling. These guys, if they don’t leave the country, number one, they’re going to get caught. And not only are they going to get caught, they’re going to be made examples of. And that’s exactly what we should be doing, with these guys especially. In my opinion, Epstein was chickens**t, he should have faced the music, that one.”

McCain also explained that she personally knew of a case where “a girl from my daughter’s high school” was one of Epstein’s victims. “That’s how close to home it came for us.” She said she hoped that the discussion could cover where it is and leave the audience with “an action item for tonight.”

So here is a question.

There’s a difference between a random citizen on the street hearing about Epstein rumors.

Here’s the wife of, at the time, one of the powerful people in the Senate, who’s claiming she knew about Epstein and a personal case. Is she saying she tried to alert people and was turned down? Or simply “everyone knew” but no one did or was able to get anything done about it?

Indeed, she was right that many people did know, at least since his conviction in 2010. Yet, many celebrities still had contact with him even after he served time.

This is why some still doubt that Epstein killed himself and it became a popular meme. Because many powerful people would not like the information he had to come out.

While the New York City medical examiner officially ruled it a suicide, Dr. Michael Baden, who was hired by Epstein’s brother to sit in on the autopsy and look into the matter, said he doesn’t believe that’s the case, that he believes it was likely murder based on the evidence that he’s seen regarding the state of Epstein’s body.
