As my colleague Jen Van Laar reported, President Donald Trump has been tweeting a lot of support to the protesters in Iran, as well as warning the government not to hurt them — that the “world is watching.”

Trump was referencing the massacre in November in which reportedly 1500 people protesting the Iranian government were killed.

Trump also tweeted out another warning today to the mullahs and the IRGC.

Now, who could find anything objectionable about rendering support to such brave protesters in the face of the viciousness of the regime?

Here comes NY Times White House reporter Maggie Haberman.

Wow. Doesn’t this say everything you need to know about our press today?

The folks in Iran are literally risking their lives, but for Haberman, it’s all about her and her cronies back here and the fact that Trump is mean to them.

Pro tip? This isn’t about you or your TDS; it’s about reporting, objectively, on what’s actually going on there, not making it all about you.

But is Trump throwing reporters in jail? Gunning them down in the streets? Doing anything even approaching Iran? Answer: no.

He criticized fake news which has been a torrent against him in liberal media. They’ve been completely free to attack him and they have, constantly, since before he was elected. Indeed, many of them spent the past three years spreading the Russia collusion hoax.

We will note they had no issue with Barack Obama actually spying on reporters and going after them for reporting. Because Democrat.

Haberman is so lacking in self-awareness she doesn’t see that her own tweet attacking Trump shows how silly her point is. No one is stopping her or others from “reporting” in any way, even if that reporting is biased or false.

Many reporters seem to have made everything about their TDS, even troubles with Iran, without caring about the consequences of what they say or caring that it can be used as Iranian propaganda.

Finally, if I recall, there was even a reporter during the 2016 campaign, mentioned in the Wikileaks emails, who was referred to as someone who was good to go to “tee up” stories for the Democrats. I wonder who that was….
