It’s almost a tragicomedy at this point how much the media seems to be hyping the talking points of Iran on the death of IRGC terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani.

The NY Times even termed him a “warrior-philosopher.” Let’s ignore the thousands of deaths he responsible for and the stories about him hanging people on meathooks, that’s obviously just a little flawed behavior on his part.

But MSNBC’s Chris Matthews apparently wanted to go one better than the New York Times.

Matthews had already revealed himself broken by terming the killing of Soleimani an “assassination,” as we reported.

But he just got even worse and compared Soleimani to Princess Diana or Elvis, claiming Soleimani was in fact a “beloved hero.”

Wait, what?

Can we remind you that he’s a terrorist who killed hundreds of Americans? And wounded thousands more? And was behind the recent rocket attacks on Americans and the attack on the American embassy? Not to mention he’s killed thousands across the Middle East?

Contrary to “beloved hero,” he’s hated across the region for how he’s oppressed people. Not only in other countries, but in Iran itself. He is regarded as a monster by many in Iran and reports were many were forced to attend his funeral.

But way to put out Iranian propaganda, Chris!

Scary that people like Chris Matthews have a platform to push such “news.”
