When you see folks from the prior administration tweet about something like the killing of IRGC terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani, it leaves you so grateful that Obama is no longer in office and these folks no longer are in positions of power. Because their tweets reveal such ignorance and naivete, it’s scary.
As my colleagues Sister Toldjah and Bonchie noted, Ben Rhodes was one we knew would be bad.
But someone we didn’t expect to hear from on the subject was former FBI lawyer, Lisa Page, who exchanged anti-Trump texts and had an affair with FBI official Peter Strzok.
Good riddance, but also God help us.
My mother emigrated from Iran in her 20s, to forge a better life for herself. 1/

Interesting. Why did she leave? Her former lover, Peter Strzok also had a connection to Iran, in that he attended elementary school at the American School in Tehran prior to the Iranian Revolution when his father who was a US Army Lieutenant Colonel served three tours there. Strzok also lived in Saudi Arabia while his father served two tours there.
Iran is smart and strategic and all over the world. Iran isn’t an irrational actor, but they have the pride of a 5,000 year old culture. I fear they are going to hit back in a way to remind America that they are a real and independent country.
I hope I’m wrong. 2/

They aren’t “irrational?” Well, except maybe when they’re tossing gay people off roofs in the name of that “5000 year old culture.” Attacking our embassy is frankly just a little irrational although maybe they thought there would be no reaction because there never was one under Obama. Maybe this is the time not to be praising Iran is right after they’ve attacked Americans? How about praising Trump for preventing another planned attack? Of course, that’s just a thought.
Lisa, the regime is purely Islamic. They'd tell you so themselves. One reason Iranians don't like them is because they've done all they can to squash Iranian/Persian culture. In a nation thousands of years old, they're a 41 year flash in the pan. They also killed 1,500 Iranians.

Iran looked and aligned itself more with the west before the king was overthrown by islamism in 1979. Things changed rapidly, becoming an islamic republic a few months later. 5,000 year old culture though…

Maybe Lisa should remember her boss propped up the mullahs with billions?
and fund groups like Hezbullah

43 years ago, women in Tehran could wear short sleeves and shorts…outside…in broad daylight with their hair in a ponytail.

This could actually cause them to get out in the streets and yell out “Death To America!” It’s a game changer.

Don’t worry, we have an insurance policy. It’s called “President Trump” https://t.co/l9yqcY95e1
