The New York Post is reporting Hunter Biden was suspected of smoking crack inside a strip club VIP room in Washington, D.C. late last year.

According to workers at Archibald’s, which is three blocks from the White House, he was a frequent visitor to the club.

Security worker Ranko Petrovic said Biden — the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, the Democratic front-runner to challenge President Trump next year — would routinely hole up in a VIP room and drink during his visits.

Although Petrovic said the club “had no issue with him,” former Archibald’s managing partner James Ritter said one occasion in late 2018 was marred by a “suspicion of drug use.”

“There was a smell of burning Styrofoam in the VIP room. We told him nothing illegal can go on here,” Ritter said.

“We didn’t see anything illegal. After he was spoken to, the smell stopped.”

“VIP employees suspected it was crack,” he added.

Workers also described how Hunter spent “thousands and thousands of dollars in Archibald’s VIP rooms,” and paid his bills with “credit cards that didn’t have his name on it.” But even though they normally didn’t allow that, he got a pass.

This was while Biden was still on the board of Burisma, the Ukraine gas company. He served on the board from April 2014 to April 2019 during which he was paid by some reports at least $50,000 per month. Other reports suggest the amount may have been higher. Biden, when queried by ABC, evaded answering the question.

It’s not clear what exactly Hunter Biden did in that position to earn the money. An extensive New Yorker report on him said that he attended board meetings and energy forums in Europe “once or twice a year.”

People raised questions about his position on the board, saying he didn’t have any experience, speak the language, or have a background in energy, clearly thinking he was placed on the board for other reasons.

Hunter Biden said in an interview last month with ABC that he thought he “had as much knowledge as anybody else who was on the board — if not more.”

Biden has a history of substance abuse and has acknowledged prior stays in rehab for alcoholism and addiction as well as a crack binge in 2016.

He was divorced from his first wife after he engaged in a relationship with the wife of his late brother. He remarried earlier this year in May, marrying Melissa Cohen, who he’d dated about a week. Last week, DNA tests confirmed that he was the father of a 10-month-old baby with an Arkansas woman who was suing him for child support.

His lawyer/spokesperson had not yet responded to the New York Post’s story.

One has to think this isn’t good preparation for possibly testifying before Congress.
