Yesterday we brought you some of the teaser clips from the BBC interview with Prince Andrew about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and accusations he forced sex upon a 17-year-old girl, Virginia Roberts, whose last name is now Giuffre.

Now the full interview is out.

Predictably, people are not reacting well to it.

He admitted to staying at Epstein’s home in New York, home in Palm Beach, and his private island and acknowledged that Epstein had been invited to events at Windsor Castle, Sandringham (the Queen’s country estate), and even stayed at Balmoral (the Queen’s estate in Scotland).

But the prince discounts Giuffre’s claims that she was forced to have sex with him on three different occasions in London, New York, and on the island, saying he has no recollection of ever having met her and there are a few problems with her account of the events.

“There’s a slight problem with, with, with, with the sweating,” Andrew told journalist Emily Maitlis, refuting an account by Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre, who has insisted that she was trafficked to the prince in 2001, after suffering his “sweating all over me” on a London dance floor.

Not true, Andrew insisted Saturday. “Because I have a peculiar medical condition,” Andrew told Maitlis.

“Which is that I don’t sweat, or I didn’t sweat at the time … because I had suffered what I would describe as an overdose of adrenaline in the Falklands War when I was shot at.

“And I simply — it was, it was almost impossible for me to sweat.

When asked about the photo that shows him with Giuffre and Ghislaine Maxwell at about the same with his arm around her waist, he suggested that the photo was likely not real because among other things, he doesn’t hug because of his position.

“I’m terribly sorry, but if I, as a member of the royal family, and I have a photograph taken — and I taken very, very few photographs — I am not one to, um, as it were, hug,” he stammered.

“Public displays of affection are not something that, that I do. So. That’s the best explanation I can give you.”

He suggested it was a “photograph of a photograph” that may have been doctored.

He also said on one of the dates claimed that he could not have been with Giuffre because he was taking his daughter to a party at the Pizza Express in Woking and then spent the night with his children.

“On the date that’s being suggested I was at home with the children… I’d taken Beatrice to Pizza Express in Woking.”

The prince had Epstein to his daughter’s 18th birthday party, which came even after Epstein was accused in 2006. Andrew said at that time he was unaware of the charges. Harvey Weinstein was also allegedly at the same party according to the Sunday Times of London.

Andrew claimed that he visited Epstein in New York after he had already served time for soliciting a minor because he wanted to tell him in person that he couldn’t see him anymore. That was what he was telling him he said in an infamous photo showing the two walking in New York’s Central Park.

When he spoke of Epstein he also referred to his behavior as “unbecoming,” which prompted Maitlis to remind him that Epstein was a convicted sex offender (so it was a little more than “unbecoming”).

“To deny a recollection of Virginia in an interview is awfully weak and untested,” lawyer Stan Pottinger, who represents Giuffre, told The Post.

“If the prince will only accept our invitation to testify under oath we will be happy to refresh his recollection.”

According to the New York Post, the Queen and Prince Charles were unhappy with him giving the interview. His PR guy reportedly quit over his decision to do it.

Suffice it to say, if he thought it was going to quiet attention to the question, it failed.
