It was just two weeks ago that the President’s supporters were crowing about the Rasmussen daily tracker. But now look at how he’s crashed! Disaster!

It seems likely that the public is increasingly worried about the President’s poorly conceived “trade war” with our allies. That is the President’s signature policy at the moment. As he has pursued it, his support has collapsed.
He’s now down 10 points, 44-54, in the Rasmussen Tracker. That’s a five week low. He hadn’t dropped as low as 44 since January 31.
Coincidentally enough, the Obamacare fight had pulled Barack Obama down to the exact same approval in the Rasmussen tracker on March 9, 2010: 44-54. As a result of Obama’s dismal performance and economic mismanagement, the President’s party was devastated in November of that year.
Republicans have good reason to worry. Trade just might be Trump’s Obamacare, that brings the whole party crashing down in November.
