Pew Research polled the generation gap, and besides diamond rings, casual restaurants, and napkins, it turns out millennials are doing their best to kill the Republican Party.

Millennials used to look like everyone else, according to the Pew poll. They were young, and dumb, showing a strong preference for the Democrats, but the gap was closing. What was a D+23 gap in 2006, had become a D+9 gap in 2014. But now in 2018 that’s out the window, and millennials have had it with Republicans in the Trump era:

Every other generation polled keeps it close, but millennials have completely flown the coop to the Democrats. Even if they do start to close the gap again, slowly, this is a problem for Republicans. They’re now the largest generation and as they grow up, they will vote in greater numbers.

Donald Trump appears to have set back the Republican Party for 20 years.
