Republicans are sliding down the hill in the generic ballot, but it’s this new Rasmussen daily tracker of Donald Trump’s approval that’s really turning heads. Wow.

Donald Trump is really in the dumpster in most polling. Gallup, CNN, USA Today, Marist, The Economist, Reuters, Harris, Quinnipac, the recent polling is a tidal wave of results that have America turning against Donald Trump.
But Rasmussen the last couple of days has had some freak results. To be clear, their Daily Tracking poll is not a regular poll. They take a small sample every day, and release a rolling average. So if one of those days is weird, it’ll show a fluke bump. We appear to be in one of those bumps right now, as Donald Trump took a 50-48 lead in the Rasmussen approval tracker.
If he can hold it, that’s huge, even if it’s only one poll. Stay tuned.
