Yesterday’s vote was taken with speeches and applause, but the vote that just concluded in the House of Representatives is for keeps. Due to John McCain’s illness, the Senate had to make adjustments to the bill in order to ensure its passage. So, the House has to re-pass the bill in its final, final form.

That the House has succeeded in doing, by a vote of 224-201, with 12 Republicans voting Nay, 3 Republicans and 4 Democrats not voting.

All that’s left now is the President’s signature to turn this substantial tax cut and reform into law.
