Beware The New Alt-Right Hoax About the Cleveland Shooter

A Cleveland man named Steve Stephens killed a man in cold blood, and police are trying to track him down.

The Alt Right (what the American Nazi movement now calls itself) used this incident to push a hoax to further its agenda.

It’s a fake image going around social media saying that Stephens has “dark white skin,” an allusion to the stories calling George Zimmerman “white hispanic.” The hoax used an image of a Fox 8 (Cleveland) graphic, and the station has corrected the record:
