Since the founding of the Internet, the US Government has had ultimate oversight over its critical institutions. There was a conference in Brazil pushing to end that, and replace the US with the UN or some ‘multilateral’ system, creating a power vacuum that could be filled by China and/or Russia.
[mc_name name=’Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’C001098′ ] is saying ‘not so fast’ to that. Good on him.

Heritage Action, one of the great reform conservative groups out there, opposes comprehensive patent reform, and so do I.
I don’t usually agree with Google but it’s positively insane for the US Government to regulate cybersecurity at a time when we need all the help we can get. Such regulation would make us less safe.
