For those who don’t remember the story, this is classic You Will Be Made To Care territory: as Leon put it in that link, in Atlanta they’ve made “opposition to same sex marriage a fireable offense.” Atlanta Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran expressed an opinion on homosexuality that is perfectly consistent with mainstream Christianity; he did so on his own time and in a private capacity; and they fired him for it.
