Give USA Today credit: they named AG Kane’s political affiliation in the first paragraph. “Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane, once a rising star in the state’s Democratic Party, was charged Thursday with leaking grand jury information and then lying under oath to hide her involvement.” How bad is it? Bad enough that Gov. Tom Wolf – also a Democrat, and also somebody who keeps losing key personnel to indictments – has called upon Kathleen Kane to resign.  AG Kane refuses to resign, bless her heart; but it’s unclear how long that’s going to last, of course.

So keep watching the skies on this one. Sometimes these cases blossom, as it were. It’d be very interesting if now would be one of those times.
