NRSC will drop money in New Hampshire, other states after all.

Well, well, well.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee’s independent expenditure arm is in the process of increasing its television reservations by at least $7.4 million for the final three weeks before Election Day, a source familiar with the group’s plans told POLITICO Friday night.

In addition to a $1 million buy in South Dakota reported by POLITICO earlier Friday evening, the NRSC is increasing its buys by $1 million in Alaska, $1.5 million in Colorado, $1.45 million in Georgia, $1.25 million in Iowa and $1.2 million in New Hampshire.

There had been some question earlier about whether the NRSC was going to throw more money into New Hampshire – well, more accurately, there was some question about why they weren’t throwing money into New Hampshire.  Evidently the answer is They were just getting around to it. …And it would probably be politic to simply accept that answer, if only because the point of all of this is to remove a bunch of sitting (and, frankly, awful) Democratic Senators.  Or to keep ones just as bad from taking office. Or, at least, the point at this stage. The entire thing is a process, not an event.
