Results here: Wyoming actually closed at 9 PM EST and Washington has another hour to go. Wyoming’s gubernatorial race is widely considered to be a likely Republican pickup (the Democrat incumbent is retiring) and the numbers so far suggest that this is true; the sole House race has already been called for the Republican incumbent.
As for Washington… we’ll see. The most important thing to remember for this state is that the top two candidates in a primary advance, regardless of party affiliation. In practice this typically means one Democrat, one Republican anyway. If any Democrats in non-Republican incumbent seats get shut out tonight… well, that’s sufficiently low-probability that I’ll be almost obligated to declare DOOM in Washington state. I don’t even remotely expect it, but it’s nice to have hope again, huh?
