As we all know, the only thing "progressive" about the Left over the last ten years has been the progression of their psychological affliction known as "Trump Derangement Syndrome."
Think about it: TDS during President Donald Trump's first term was already festering, but the rhetoric with its accompanying violence was arguably not quite as incendiary as it is today.
In a Sunday example, a librarian — yes, a librarian — was arrested after allegedly posting online videos trying to recruit assassins to kill the president. Is anyone surprised? Other than the fact that this librarian is a lunatic, perhaps.
Again, the depth of the Left's hatred for Trump, and its dangerous rhetoric — *courtesy* of the Democrat Party and its lapdog media — has moved to real-world violence. Thankfully, in this case, the insanity was brought to an end by law enforcement before it led to the unthinkable.
So Here's the Scoop
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department in West Virginia announced on Sunday night that a local librarian — identified by authorities as Morgan L. Morrow of Ripley, West Virginia— was arrested after allegedly posting videos attempting to recruit "snipers" to target Trump. The arrest came shortly after the disturbing videos were shared on X.
Sheriff RH Mellinger posted on X after Morrow was arrested and charged:
ARRESTED:Following a detailed evening investigation by deputies and the Jackson County Bureua of Investigations, Morgan L. Morrow, age 39 of Ripley, has been detained, arrested, and transported to SCRJ following a social media recruitment of individuals to pursue and assassinate President Trump. Further details will be released as we continue to compile facts and further the investigation. Morrow is charged with one count of TERRORISTIC THREATS.***NOTE: This is not meant to be a political - oriented statement. This is an active criminal investigation with documented and troubling concerns. Stay safe and stay warm, everyone.~ Sheriff RH Mellinger ~
So what leads a librarian to do such a thing? Three letters: TDS (late-stage).

So cast your mind back to "play stupid games, win stupid prizes," as you read the profound idiocy from Ms. Morrow — meaning, how on earth did this librarian think she could get away with this?
Surely a sniper with a terminal illness cannot be a big ask out of 343 million.
Yes, I bolded the font, intentionally; the ignorance deserves it.
Needless to say, the Jackson County Public Library posted a statement on Facebook shortly before the sheriff announced the arrest:
The comments recently made by an employee do not reflect the mission, values, or standards of conduct of our organization. We take our responsibilities to the public and our supporters seriously and are committed to professionalism, respect, and integrity in all that we do.
The views expressed are made in an individual capacity and do not represent the position of the organization. We are addressing the matter internally in accordance to our established policies and procedures. We remain committed to our mission and serving our community in a manner that upholds our core values.
I'd venture a bet that at least some of Morrow's coworkers share her hatred of President Trump, but that would be sheer speculation (wink-wink).

We often muse about the only political *platform* the Left has is its hatred of Trump, but here's the thing: the virulence of the rabid Left isn't going to vanish when Trump leaves office.
