In this episode of "Of All the Gall"...
Former President Joe Biden might not have entered office completely devoid of cognitive ability — although he appeared to be well on his way — but when he left the White House, his mind was empty as a wine bottle after former Vice President Kamala Harris finished it off.
As if we needed proof of the above, in his first real interview since leaving the White House, Biden incoherently defended his decision to seek reelection in 2024, incessantly bragged about his miserable record in office, and "shockingly" criticized President Donald Trump’s foreign policy.
My favorite part of the interview, conducted by the BBC — and by far the funniest and most delusional part — was the former president's answer in response to why he remained in the race so long, even after more than a few Democrat muckety-mucks were calling on him to abandon his campaign. He told the BBC (emphasis, mine):
"I don’t think it would have mattered. We left at a time when we had a good candidate, she was fully funded,” he said. “And what happened was… I had become, what we had set out to do, no one thought we could do, I had become so successful in our agenda, it was hard to say, ‘Now I’m going to stop now.'
"I had become so successful in our agenda." When I first read that complete crock of crap I almost spit Diet Coke on my computer screen. "Seriously, Joe," I thought to myself, "by what measure?" Then it dawned on me: The definition of "successful" to the left is not the same definition held by the sane, rational, and moral among us.
So yeah, Biden successfully — intentionally so — imported 12 million or more illegal aliens into the country, based on the simple (incorrect) premise that if even half of those illegals someday became American citizens with the right to vote, they'd be a shoo-in to overwhelmingly vote Democrat.
Just one problem.
As we saw in the historic 2024 presidential election, not only did a record number of Hispanic Americans vote for Trump, but a majority of Hispanic males supported him. And as most of us know, a record number of Black voters supported Trump, as well.
Another "success" for Biden and his handlers was waging their war on oil, driving gas prices through the ceiling, while the overall economic devastation of Bidenomics drove up the prices of most if not all consumer goods, including — mostly devastatingly for lower-income Americans — prices at the grocery store.
And who will ever forget Biden's disastrous, hasty, and ill-advised withdrawal of the last American troops from Afghanistan, needlessly causing the deaths of 13 American forces and scores of Afghan citizens, and perhaps worst of all, leaving unknown American citizens trapped by brutal Taliban forces.
Finally, Biden "successfully" fostered the sickness of DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) and championed the obscenity of male athletes dominating female athletes in female sporting events.
I could go on, you know.
MORE BIDEN "SUCCESS": Report: Democrats Just Want Joe Biden to Go Away Already
Biden was stubbornly delusional (as he continued to lie) throughout the entire interview, including veering into an attack against Trump's foreign policy, going off on how Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's valid criticism of European "freeloading" off the U.S. were unfounded.
It’s a grave concern. I think it would change the modern history of the world. Look, we are not the essential nation. We’re the only nation in a position to have the capacity to bring people together, lead the world. Otherwise you’re going to have China and the former Soviet Union, Russia stepping up.
That was as laughable as it was delusional.
If America isn't the "essential nation" on the planet, then the planet is even worse off than we realize.
And, memo to Joe: China and Russia stepped up mightily throughout the four years of your calamitous presidency, while you ate ice cream, wandered around on stages after delivering comments, and spent most of your time warning Americans about the "existential threat to mankind" of anthropomorphic climate change. That, and sucking up to the rabid left at every opportunity.
Finally, Biden blasted Trump for talking about making Canada America's 51st state and buying Greenland.
What the hell is going on here? What president ever talks like that? That’s not who we are. We are about freedom, democracy, opportunity, not about confiscation.
Um, the kind of president who "talks like that" is President Trump, Joe — the greatest troll the presidency has ever seen. And while the results of Trump's trolling about Canada and Greenland have yet to play out, this president is all about "making deals," as he regularly reminds us.
And no, Joe, you and your party are not all about "freedom, democracy, opportunity, not about confiscation." The Democrat Party is all about government control, equity over merit, exclusion of those who refuse to bow to its far-left narratives and agendas — and confiscation of firearms from law-abiding American citizens.
Just go already.
The Democrat Party has never been less popular as voters reject its globalist agenda.
