Brutal communist dictatorships have long utilized so-called reeducation camps to "reeducate" (punish, by any means necessary or desired) political prisoners and other "thought criminals" who dare to act out or speak out against the actions or policies of their repressive regimes.
And in the no-longer-golden state of California, one day camp center in Pasadena targets children, ages six to nine, for, shall we say indoctrination in the sick ways of so-called "transgenderism." Why so young?
Because like all unnatural brainwashing, the earlier in life it begins, the better chance it will have to take root.
That's why the Unicorn Day Camp Center in Pasadena specifically targets “transgender and gender nonbinary [TGNB] kids, ages 6-9.” According to the website, attending children participate in “affirming” activities in a blatant attempt to encourage them on their assigned “gender journey.”
If the above is repulsive to you, you're a transphobic hater, leftist screech, when in reality, you're a moral person who seethes at the mental and physical abuse of young children as beyond abhorrent.
Gender Camps promotes its TGBN camps for kids thusly:
Gendercamps.com is a collaboration between Caroline Carter, PsyD, and the Institute for Girls’ Development. We offer two awesome day camps for TGNB youth. Check out each individual camp page for 2025 camp dates.
Épanouie (fulfilled or contented, in French) is geared for transfeminine youth ages 10-12, and Unicorn Day Camp is for transgender, nonbinary, and gender expansive kids ages 6-9.
Specifically, Unicorn Day Camp is promoted like this:
Unicorn Day Camp is a summer program for transgender, nonbinary, and gender expansive kids ages 6 to 9. It’s four exciting days of arts, crafts, games, singing and lots of unicorn magic!
You won’t want to miss this unique experience, alongside kids on similar gender journeys!
Uh-huh. They "forgot" to mention that "unicorn magic" can lead to irreversible mutilation of children's bodies, including double-mastectomies, and surgical or chemical castration, followed by years therapy, and in a growing number of cases, "detransitioning" by those who finally come to the conclusion that they suffered from mental or psychological issues rather than the ridiculous insanity of being "born in the wrong body."
Dr. Caroline Carter provides an effusive, yet sickening, explanation of why she so enjoys working with (programming) so-called TGNB kids on her organization's website, as well:
Working with TGNB youth is the highlight of my practice. Wherever your child is on their gender journey, the support and partnership therapy will offer can both ease the process and strengthen resilience and esteem. My work with TGNB youth includes individual therapy, family therapy, as well as therapy with siblings.
Meanwhile, as published in an updated report on Monday, the Department of Health and Human Services recommends therapy for children afflicted with gender dysphoria — a medical term used to describe the severe stress or unhappiness experienced by believing one's "gender identify" is different from his or her biological sex — and that "procedures and medicine" can "carry risk of significant harm" to kids.
A 409-page report from HHS states, in part:
Psychotherapy is a noninvasive alternative to endocrine and surgical interventions for the treatment of pediatric gender dysphoria. Systematic reviews of evidence have found no evidence of adverse effects of psychotherapy in this context.
Psychotherapy for adolescents with GD is a well-suited intervention, as it is intended to help patients develop self-understanding, engage with emotional vulnerability, and build practical strategies for managing distress.
The HHS report, which was commissioned after President Donald Trump signed an executive order in January, which stated in part that U.S. policy was not to “fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called 'transition' of a child from one sex to another,” is aimed at providing accurate and current information on the treatment of gender dysphoria in children.
The bottom line, Dr. Michael Artigues, president of the American College of Pediatricians, told The Epoch Times in an emailed statement, is that the report confirms that “transgender interventions on minors, including puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries, cause irreversible harm.”
Yet, the Democrat Party, which absurdly describes itself as "the party of children" and "the party of women," continues to affirm its support not only for "gender-affirming care," but also for male athletes beating the daylights out of female athletes in female sporting events. Yes, both of those are unconscionable, my Democrat friends.
Yes, I still have Democrat friends — just not on the rabid left.
