Bloomberg Columnist Makes Total Fool Out of Himself Attacking 'Miserable' Seeming Trump, Vance, Musk

Matthew Yglesias is a columnist for Bloomberg Opinion. If that doesn't tell you all you need to know about this guy, perhaps this will: He was a co-founder of and former columnist for Vox — which is well beyond "left-leaning" (translation: a left-wing rag.) Even better, he writes a blog on Substack titled "Slow Boring."

So, with the introduction out of the way, let's visit a Saturday X post by Yglesias, which made the name of Yglesias' blog even more ironic.

A TDS-riddled loather of all things President Donald Trump, which obviously includes Vice President JD Vance and de facto DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) and Elon Musk — the wealthiest human being on the face of the Earth, the Bloomberg columnist wrote:

The low character of Donald Trump, Elon Musk, JD Vance, etc is really remarkable to behold. These are fortunate people who’ve led fortunate lives and they can’t muster an ounce of grace, generosity, or humility — not coincidentally, they seem miserable!

Really, dude?

By what standard — other than late-stage Trump Derangement Syndrome, which is as far from a "standard" as one can get — do do any of these three look remotely miserable?

Trump is laid back as can be, and he appears to genuinely enjoy being back in the Oval Office. Vance smiles regularly, even while dismantling nonsensical misstatements and lies of the left-wing media. And Musk is on a natural high that not many people achieve.

So why did Yglesias make an utter fool of himself, just as all on the left do when they spew similar bilge?

It's called projection. The state of the TDS-riddled left is not only worse (better, for amusement purposes) than I've ever seen it; it continues to worsen (get even more amusing).

As is always the case with left-wing "journalists," Yglesias "forgot" to mention the likes Democrat Reps. Jasmine Crockett (TX) and Maxine Waters (CA), much less Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (NY), and others, all of whom regularly melt down in histrionic fits of rage while spewing venom about Trump and/or members of his administration.

Why is that? The question is rhetorical.

Understand: Matthew Yglesias is one of many among the "dime a dozen" left-wing media whose unbridled hatred of Donald Trump, while humorous, is irrational — to the rational among us.

As the left sees it (make that "pretends to see it"), Trump securing the Southern Border and putting an end to the never-ending influx of illegal aliens throughout four years of the Biden administration is tantamount to "racism," "white supremacy," and other such nonsense. The reality, of course, is that the Democrat Party has for decades believed that the more "future Democrat voters" they import into the country, the better the chance they'll have of winning presidential elections.

In another notable example, Musk's DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) and its continuing exposure of billions of dollars of government waste, abuse, and fraud, outrages the left (I'm sure you know why), which the Democrats promptly convert to lies and scare tactics about Republicans reducing Social Security and Medicare benefits — a lie the left has perpetuated for decades.

Meanwhile, the Trump Train rolls on.

Editor’s Note: Elon Musk and DOGE are bringing much-needed accountability to our out-of-control bureaucracy as they take a chainsaw to rampant waste, fraud, and abuse.
