MSNBC Hosts Wallace, Sharpton Whine About Mass Deportation, Accidentally Admit What We've Known All Along

Townhall Media

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace described herself as a "self-loathing former Republican" in March 2021.

While it's never been clear to me what conservative bona fides Wallace might have once possessed, her admitted "self-loathing" is crystal clear. She continually snivels about the evils of President-elect Donald Trump and conservatism in general, while hilariously singing the praises of the likes of lame-duck President Joe Biden and 2024 presidential election loser, Vice President Kamala Harris, and the wonders of leftism.

Professional race-hustler and shakedown artist Al Sharpton, who serves as host of MSNBC's "PoliticsNation," is not dissimilar to Wallace — save for the "former Republican" part.

Put these two leftists together on one show or another, and pure entertainment is guaranteed.

Such was the case on Friday when Sharpton trotted onto the set of Wallace's show, "Dateline: Washington," for a joint meltdown over Trump's pledge to mass-deport illegal aliens who easily entered the U.S. throughout the four disastrous years of Biden's intentionally-caused border crisis.

The funniest part of the segment was Wallace and Sharpton inadvertently admitting what we've known all along: the Biden administration, including embattled Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, not only has no clue how many illegal have entered the country under their watch; these people also have no clue where untold numbers of illegals came from.

We'll begin with the genius of Sharpton, as he talks about the logistics of Trump's mass-deportation pledge (emphasis, mine).

Even the logistics, of what he's talking about are not really laid out. Yes, it would cost a trillion dollars. But you're going to deport them where? Do you have an agreement with the countries they came from? How do you even know what countries they came from? Are you going to hire personnel to track down 'Did you come from Mexico?', 'Did you come from Ecuador?'

I mean the logistics of doing this is [sic] ridiculous. Because it will cost super money, take super time, and you've not worked out an agreement. You can't just put people on a plane and land in some other country's field without having clearance there, while you're talking about tariffs against Mexico at the same time.

So I think that if Trump's own supporters understood how loosely this was thrown together with no thought, they would say 'Wait a minute. We're going to blow a trillion dollars, and really not going to be able to execute this

Hold the bus — this is going to take a minute.

First, it's amusing to see Al Sharpton, of all people, worrying about the amount of money taxpayers are going to spend given that he was a tax cheat for years, before reportedly paying off a $4.5 million tax debt. Or did he? The New York Post reported in 2019 that Sharpton retired his personal state tax debt, yet still owed nearly $700,000 in back taxes for three of his companies.

Second, let's pretend mass deportation would cost a trillion dollars. What's the alternative? Allowing a reported 10 million (or likely more) illegal aliens to remain in the country, untold numbers of whom were convicted of murder and other violent crimes in their countries of origins? Even worse, U.S. citizens have been murdered, raped, and killed by illegal aliens. Where does it end, Reverend Al?

Third, Sharpton's attempt to link mass deportation with threatening Mexico with tariffs was a laughable non sequitur at best.

And fourth, like all good left-wingers, Sharpton knows full well that the Democrat Party's ultimate goal is naturalizing millions of illegals and giving them the vote.

Wallace, who continually said "right" throughout Sharpton's mini-diatribe and nodded her head like a bobblehead doll, responded brilliantly:

And just the idea of moving 11 million human beings. Are they on trains? Are they on buses? Would they get off, and what happens? They have babies—

Pure genius, huh? Sharpton cut her off and said:

To house them — who's gonna pay for the housing? Who's gonna guard them? The security — I mean the enormous expense of this I don't think anyone has realistically talked about. He's just throwing things against the wall to see what sticks with his voters.

"Yep," Wallace said.

The Bottom Line

This was ironic comedy (tragic as it is) at its best. Leftists like Al Sharpton and Nicolle Wallace are incapable of understanding the damage the Biden administration has intentionally done to America.

And yes, they are irrelevant, as MSNBC's ratings continue to swirl down the toilet. But I believe, as did Rush Limbaugh, that the more coverage we give the left's idiocy, the better.

Why? Just look at the results of the 2024 election and why millions of voters crossed the aisle and voted for Trump, and you'll find the answer.
