'Panic Mode': ABC Desperate to Add Pro-Trump Voices to Rabidly Anti-Trump Spew on 'The View'

This report is somewhere between tragicomedy and well-deserved karma.

In the aftermath of President-elect Donald Trump's blowout win over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, ABC execs are reportedly in panic mode as they scramble to bring in pro-Trump voices to "balance" the rabidly anti-Trump clown show, "The View," and other top shows.

This is absolutely hilarious.

The Trump Derangement Syndrome-riddled ladies -- Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sonny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and the rest of the Trump-hating cast have spewed venomous bile against the former president and his followers for years. That's in addition to parroting outrageous nonsense that a second Trump presidency would bring about the end of democracy, presidential elections, and women's rights, while ushering in internment camps for Trump's "enemies" and other such bilge.

An unnamed source told The New York Post (emphasis, mine):

Everyone on ‘The View’ endorsed Kamala Harris. They lost. They are out of touch with America. For a show about different perspectives, ‘The View’ doesn’t seem to have any when it comes to Trump; ABC bosses don’t want to alienate the pro-Trump demographic.

Wait. They don't want to alienate the pro-Trump demographic? Should we tell them? Yo, ABC. That ship sailed a long time ago. Do you clowns really think Trump supporters and other conservatives will suddenly fire up "The View" -- instead of avoiding it like the plague -- because you're now bleeding viewership, and are desperate to pretend to be fair and balanced? Please.

It gets better. And by "better," I mean even more hilarious.

A second source told the NY Post that an expected, network-wide reshuffle comes after execs were caught “flat-footed” by Trump's win, and the pro-Trump sentiment in the country. #ProTip: That's what happens when you live in a TDS-riddled bubble with the likes of Whoopi, Behar, and Hostin.

Speaking generally, the source said: "We are trying to sort out how we cover the next four years when everyone inside ABC News is on one side." Uh-huh. Good luck with that.

An ABC spokesperson told The Post in a statement:

"The View is an opinion-based show featuring a diverse panel of women with different points of view – the current panel is clearly resonating with audiences given that the series just had its highest rated episode in more than a decade and hit a 4-year high in total viewers."

Hold the bus. A diverse panel with different points of view?

Name one co-host who has a different point of view on Donald Trump. Name one co-host who has a different view about Kamala Harris. ABC can't -- and they know it.

Moreover, that highest rated episode that "The View" just had? Yeah, that was on the Wednesday after the election, when untold numbers of conservatives tuned in to witness what would surely be a total meltdown by Whoopi & Co. (It was, and it was awesome.)

Here's more:

ABC, owned by Disney, was sharply criticized after ABC News moderators repeatedly questioned and “fact-checked” Donald Trump during the presidential debate against Democrat candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris.

In addition, Harris made an appearance on "The View," as the show's panelists repeatedly came out in support of her. Since Trump won back the presidency, the TV personalities have been very vocal about their disdain for the outcome of the race for the White House.

Hostin blamed Harris’ loss on “uneducated white women” and Goldberg said she could not bring herself to speak Trump's name.

“I think [Trump’s victory] had nothing to do with policy,” Hostin said. “I think this was a referendum on cultural resentment in this country.”

Had Harris won the election, we would have heard nary a peep from ABC News honchos. They know it, and they know we know it -- yet they hilariously think they can stop the clown show's ratings from swirling down the toilet by adding a pro-Trump voice, here and there.

The NY Post's  first source pondered rhetorically: "The question is what will happen to the Whoopis and the Joys if they bring on a Trumpster?" What would happen would be the TDS-riddled ladies ganging up on the "Trumpster," and not allowing (presumably) her to get in a word in, edgewise.
