'Identifying With Whiteness': MSNBC's Uber-Racist Joy Reid Blames Black, Latino Men for Trump Win

Townhall Media

In this episode of "Continuing Hysterical Meltdowns in the Left-Wing Media"...

MSNBC's Joy Reid — among our favorite racist-as-can-be far-left media hosts — predictably returned to blaming... you guessed it... racism for President-elect Donald Trump's historical beatdown of Vice President Kamala Harris in Tuesday's election.

Yep, despite Trump's sizable, across-the-board gains in virtually every demographic in 2024 vs. his performance in 2020, Reid on Thursday singled out black and Latino men in her latest hysterical rant.

It was a beautiful sight to behold.

It's this idea of 'I want to be with the side that's waving to biggest flag; I want to fit in.' There is a huge element, to be honest, of anti-blackness in a lot of it -- anti-black America, specifically.

There is a part of that anti-blackness that is a piece of it, even though Enrique Tarrio, who's the head of the Proud Boys, is a black Latino. But he's down with white supremacists. And there's this idea that 'I'm black but I'm not black. I may look black to you; I may be black if I'm walking through Bloomingdale's and get followed around, but in my mind I'm identifying with whiteness, because whiteness means privilege and means not being a black American.'

This has to be unpacked because this shift among Latino men is significant and it say something about where we're going in this country; whether we can create an appeal. There's also the last thing I will throw in and the creation of the idea that everything Vice President Harris was proposing was communism; was communism -- that is a potent argument for Latino men.

Oh, there's a lot to "unpack" for sure, Ms. Reid — and we're going to unpack after this clip.

A request if you're a male black or Latino Trump supporter: Please raise your hand if your vote was inspired by Enrique Tarrio, much less if you know who the guy is.

Now, let's get to that unpacking.

First, I'm not a psychiatrist, so I can't definitively say that Joy Reid's delusional obsession with skin color is a mental disease, but if it isn't, it's gotta be damn close. This woman looks at virtually everything as black or white — pun intended.

Second, the notion that "anti-blackness" runs rampant in America is utterly ridiculous. Let's start with two words that disprove Reid's claim: Barack Obama. Obama not only sailed through election and reelection; he also continues to be the revered omniscient high priest of the Democrat Party.

Third, I'd venture a sizable bet that at least a strong majority of black and Latino men neither identify with whiteness nor wish they were white. What they do want — and increasingly expect — is to no longer be pandered to and exploited by the Democrat Party, particularly during election campaigns.

Moreover, hardworking men of color aren't interested in the Democrat Party's promise to raise the minimum wage. Why not? Because hardworking people aren't dependent on a minimum wage; they want the opportunity to do as well in life as their hard work can take them.

I could go on, but the Democrats' continuing "soft bigotry of low expectations" has become — and will increasingly become — anathema to a growing percentage of all Americans.

Reid also spewed directly to Latino men:

Latino men, who, despite the utter disrespect shown by Trump and his promise to deport some of your mixed-status families, most of them voted in a 55% majority to make the deportations happen. Y’all voted with Stephen Miller and David Duke and against your own sisters, who chose Kamala Harris with 60% of their votes. So, you own everything that happens to your mixed-status families and to your wives, sisters, and abuelas from here on in.

Lying is one thing. Dismissive, arrogant lying is even worse.

In a final jab, Reid warned:

Donald Trump’s spokesperson has confirmed that, upon taking office at noon on January 20, 2025, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, he will begin the mass deportation of up to 11 million immigrants who are living and working in America.

Uh-huh. How 'bout we wait and see if that happens?

Meanwhile, Ms. Reid, you might want to seek some help.
