'The View' Spew: The Ladies Accuse Trump, GOP Senators of Treason, Demand They Leave the Country

On Wednesday's entertaining episode of ABC's "The View," co-host Joy Behar — with zero evidence — accused former President Donald Trump of treason, a crime punishable by death. Moderator Whoopi Goldberg kicked up the idiocy a notch by demanding that Trump and critics of the idiotic show leave the U.S. to live under a dictatorship. Yeah, we're not exactly talking about Mensa-level mentality here.

Their beyond-absurd segment was triggered by unverified claims made by former journalist and author Bob Woodward, who alleged in a new book that Trump sent COVID-19 test kits to Russia's Vladimir Putin. Trump has denied the charge, while the Kremlin on Wednesday said Trump did in fact sent the kits

Hence, whether or not Trump sent the kits appears to be unknowable at this time. Nonetheless, the Trump-loathing geniuses went to town on the former president, beginning with Behar.

She began by repeating another disputed claim of the left:

The thing about this is that during the COVID pandemic, the blue states didn't support him, so he didn't want to send the tests to the blue states, Trump. And he'll do that again, by the way. Cause he’s – He's already signaled that, you know, he's not going to help the blue states in case there is a hurricane or something. If you didn't vote for him, he’s not going to help you because he's only the president of the red states who voted for him.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin used Goldberg's claim to give props to Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx, who served as COVID advisors under Trump, of all people.

And by the way, one of the reasons who’s around ... matters is because supplies during COVID did get to blue states because of people like Dr. Fauci and Deborah Birx, and people within the government who said you have to help New York as much as you have to, you know, a red state like Ohio.

But it was Behar's absurd claim that Trump was guilty of treason that took the cake.

And by the way, the Kremlin has confirmed that he sent the COVID tests to the Kremlin when Americans were in need of the COVID tests. Now, that is, I believe, that is the definition of a traitor. Am I wrong?

Behar then accused Republican Senators Lindsey Graham (SC) and Marco Rubio (FL) of treason as well.

By the way, does this make Lindsey Graham, Marco Rubio at least step up to the plate and say maybe we're dealing with a traitor and maybe that makes us traitors? ... I mean, they have not said a word.

Not to nitpick, but what did Behar expect Graham and/or Rubio to say about an event that may not have happened?

Near the end of the bizarre segment, Whoopi tore into Trump, Graham, and Rubio, demanding they leave the country.

I say, because y'all always saying for us to go, you go find somewhere, no, I'm going to invite you to do the same. You go and you live under a dictatorship because I want you to be able to come back and talk about it like you know something, not what you think, but what you know.

Incidentally, I almost spit water on my screen when I got to her "not what you think, but what you know" thing.

During the entire segment, the ladies didn't offer a single fact to back their silly claims. And Whoopi? She simply went off the rails, which is a common symptom of stage 4 Trump Derangement Syndrome, poor thing.
