In this episode of "There Walz Goes Again"...
When Tim Walz's lips are moving, like Kamala Harris, chances are he's lying. The exception with Harris, of course, is that she could also be laughing like a hyena.
Anyway, speaking at a rally in North Carolina on Tuesday, Waz said former President Donald “Trump is trying to create this new government entity that will monitor all pregnancies to enforce their abortion bans.” The claim is categorically false, which we'll revisit in a bit.
You might remember that Kamala Harris made the same unfounded claim at the Democrat National Convention in August, and again during the 3-on-1 presidential debate on ABC — which was not fact-checked by the "moderators" — that Trump plans to create a “monitor” or “coordinator” for all pregnancies in the country so the federal government could more easily enforce a national abortion ban.
While Trump has declined to support a national abortion ban, and has also refused to say whether or not he would veto such a ban.
Here' Walz lying:
Trump is trying to create this new government entity that will monitor all pregnancies to enforce their abortion ban.
How to to put this, tactfully... it's a complete crock of you-know-what concocted to fire up the pro-abortion crowd.
Tim Walz is now claiming in all of his stump speeches that President Trump will "create a new government entity that will monitor all pregnancies."

That is not a thing that Trump has ever once said that he plans on doing.
He is making it up. pic.twitter.com/g3Al5G03k0
The false claim (lie) has been perpetuated since at least May, when USA Today fact-checked a claim made by the far-left group Occupy Democrats that Trump, if elected president, would force government monitoring on pregnant women.
A May 1 Facebook post (direct link, archive link) from the liberal group Occupy Democrats claims former President Donald Trump unveiled a plan to keep tabs on pregnant women if he's elected to a second term.
“Trump just told TIME Magazine that in his second term as president he’d force every pregnant woman to submit to constant government monitoring to ensure she’s doing nothing to endanger her ‘unborn child’ – like, say, abortion,” reads the post, which is a quote from a post on X, formerly Twitter. “A vote for Trump is a vote for The Handmaid’s Tale!”
It received more than 2,500 shares in one day. The original post from Harvard Professor Laurence Tribe was also shared widely on X.
Our rating: False. Trump told Time magazine that potential abortion policies, including monitoring women’s pregnancies, should be left up to states to decide. He didn't push for monitoring or even say whether he was for or against the concept.
This is a quintessential example of what the Democrats and their sock-puppet media do.
Unless they're just bald-faced lying, Democrats twist statements out of context to fit their various narratives. Moreover, I've been convinced for years that they don't believe half of the bilge they spew. As I've previously written, all they really care about is convincing low-information Democrat voters that their lies are true.
Finally, even left-"leaning" Snopes debunked the lie — also in May.
Claim:
In an interview for Time magazine's May 2024 issue, former U.S. President Donald Trump said, as president, he'd force every pregnant woman to submit to constant government monitoring to ensure she's doing nothing to endanger her fetus or terminate her pregnancy.
Rating:
False. Time magazine reported that Trump said policies surrounding abortion bans "should be left to the states to do what they want, including monitoring women’s pregnancies."
Yet, Kamala Harris and her whacked-out security blanket governor continue to repeat the lie, not unlike they — along with the entire Democrat Party and the left-wing media — continue to claim it's Trump's rhetoric that's responsible for two attempts to assassinate him. Go figure.
